NOVEMBER 4, 2004, NEW YORK, NY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Traitor Dachshund Books, publisher of the new novel Julia and the Dream Maker by P. J. Fischer, will be exhibiting for the first time at the Miami Book Fair International’s Street Fair at Booth #221, from Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14, 2004, with the author signing books on Saturday. The street fair is a central part of the 21st Annual Miami Book Fair International, one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious annual literary events.

“Street fairs are always fun for us. In New York in early October, we met enthusiastic readers and we look forward to meeting even more in Miami,” said Linda Purpura, owner of Traitor Dachshund Books, publisher of Julia and the Dream Maker. The novel is set in the not too distant future and involves the lives of three graduate students who are swept by their own ambitions and a wave of technology, which takes them into a seminal moment with evolution.

Every year, the Miami Book Fair International attracts more than 500,000 book lovers to the streets of downtown Miami. The Miami Book Fair International is an integral part of the Florida Center for Literary Arts at Miami Dade College.
